Holiday Party

Last week, all of the Fraternus people got together in Tallahassee for a fantastic holiday party (and by holiday party, I mean a day full of meetings).  But it was just as good!  It’s great to be in a room full of othter motivated Fraternus employess to share vision, encourage each other, and make sure we’re all on the same page.

As soon as the party was over it was time to hop in the car and drive to Pensacola, just in time for our weekly H.A.W.C. meeting (honest, availible, willing, and chaste).  H.A.W.C. is a group of select senior high brothers who wish to take what we’re learning in Fraternus to a deeper level.  We share, discuss, encourage, and play Rock Band (af ter the meeting, of course).  I love doing ministry.  Seriously  though, I think the H.A.W.C. group is my single favorite part of Fraternus (am I allowed to say that)?  Just like Jesus poured himself into his disciples, the H.A.W.C. brothers are at the core of Fraternus, and they symbolize what we’re all about.  I’m super stoked (to use Tommy’s words) to have the priveledge of walking with a group of such amazing young men.  And playing Rock Band with them.

For the rest of the week, we’re getting ready to have our final Frat night of the semester.  It’s hard to believe that half the year is almost over … then again, I haven’t been here the whole time.  We’re wrapping up our coffe sale fundraiser, meeting with our captains, and getting ready to have a fantastic last night of the semester on Chastity.

As always, pray for us, that the Lord would continue to be at work in the hearts of all those involved with Fraternus!
